Hello Dear Reader,

Welcome to SumaSurya. This website is meant for those who would like to know more about India’s rich cultural heritage, it’s history and traditions, and the various sights, flavors and sounds that make India the unique tapestry that it is.

This website brings together posts on topics such as Spirituality (Hindu Prayers and Temples), Indian Heritage, and traditional and unconventional Indian recipes. Formatted as an ‘E-Magazine’, this website presents to its readers a curated list of interesting articles, videos and photographs, sometimes translated into multiple languages.

This site is dedicated to the Late Sri Kandukuri Suryanarayana Murthy and Late Srimati Kusuma K Murthy whose ambition it was to spread the knowledge of Indian Culture to the ‘Global Community’. They always believed in, and propagated the tenet of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbam’ (the world is one family).

We here at SumaSurya, aim to bring their dream into reality through this website. The site logo and name are taken from their names ‘Suma’ (a Flower) and ‘Surya’ (the Sun).

Please note that this site will also sometimes feature voluntary contributions from authors and experts from various fields to add various perspectives to our discussions. If you are interested in contribution, we request you to contact us via the Contact Page.

If you have any suggestions on article topics or categories, or if you have any feedback to improve the website or any of our posted content, please leave your comments on the Contact Page.

We look forward to your support and encouragement in spreading this knowledge to the world.
